A fabulous buckle ring from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! Crafted in sterling silver, the ring is English in origin and has a stylish 3-dimensional design. The realistic buckle motif is complete with engraved notches and a strap tucked under a belt loop. Completing the design is a wide band, which is left simple and smooth. Stamped inside the shank are multiple English hallmarks, including the Birmingham symbols of an anchor and a lion, and the date letter "c," which dates the piece to 1900. The maker's initials "CL" can be found inside, along with an engraved inscription that reads "F. Edwards." A very wearable everyday piece, this Victorian ring merges effortlessly into modern day fashion!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25, but could easily be resized. The band measures 9mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or raised accents.
