A breathtaking opal and diamond ring from the Vintage era (ca1960)! This beautiful ring is made of 14k yellow gold and holds a gorgeous prong set opal cabochon set in the center. The opal is simply mesmerizing, exhibiting iridescent hues of white, greens, orange, pink, blues, and violet, all of which flash in the light. A full cut diamond border surrounds the opal center, forming a sparkling halo. The diamonds are held within 18k bezel settings. A smooth and simple gold band completes the design, which is stamped "18K" followed by an indistinguishable maker's mark on the interior of the shank. The ring looks exquisite when worn and would make a very special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5, but could be easily resized up or down as desired. The opal and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, or to the opal and diamond stones, all of which are intact and securely set.
