A wonderful La Triomphe enameled swan pin from the 1960's period! This lovely piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and depicts the body of a romantic swan. The elegant bird has beautiful blue and green enameling with a slightly textured surface beneath the enamel which creates rich depth to the piece. Interspersed among the alternating blue and green tail feathers are 8 prong set diamonds, each weighing approximately 0.05ct (0.40ctw) and a large natural pearl rests upon its back. The piece carries a wonderful 3-dimensional look and on the back is a secure pin clasp. The back of the pin is stamped "18KT", "La Triomphe" along with the makers mark. It's a simply beautiful piece and would look great worn alone or with a group of other enameled pins!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 2" tall, 1 3/8" wide and has a depth of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting and all of the diamonds and pearl are intact. There is normal surface wear to the enameling however it does not detract from the beauty of the piece. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
