An outstanding pair of Lapis + Pearl earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, these stunning earrings feature two round bezel-set lapis cabochons at the surmount. Beneath the lapis there is one organically shaped freshwater pearl on each earring. Just below the pearls hang elongated teardrop lapis stones speckled with hues of brown, white, and even glints of silver. The teardrops are capped in gold and dangle nicely. These marvelous earrings look fabulous when worn, and would make a striking addition to any Victorian jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 3/8" long (including the wire surmounts), and measures 7mm at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the lapis stones or pearls, both of which are secure and intact. The wire surmounts are secure and in good condition.
