A fabulous collar necklace from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this snake style collar necklace features a central heart cut diamond, which has a carat weight of 2.05ct. The stone is held within a bezel-setting and exhibits L color and VS2 clarity. The heart-cut diamond is flanked on both sides by 11 round brilliant cut diamonds, which are also held within bezel settings and display J/K color and SI1 clarity. The 22 round brilliant cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.20ctw. The collar necklace secures with a push clasp, and is further secured by a figure eight safety. The necklace was appraised in March of 2025 by a GIA-certified appraiser, and has a stated retail replacement value of $32,000. A substantial necklace, this piece would be perfect for any special occasion!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 16.25" long. The surface of the necklace measures 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The push clasp and figure eight safety are both secure and in working order.
