A marvelous diamond and sapphire statement ring from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, this ring features a central antique oval cut diamond, which has an approximate carat weight of 1.86ct. The bezel-set Oval Diamond stone displays J/K color and SI1 clarity. The diamond is flanked on both sides by two bezel-set round cut sapphires, which have an approximate total carat weight of 3.03ctw. The sapphires display a gorgeous deep blue color and are wonderfully faceted. The top and bottom edges of the ring are encrusted with a border of 50 round brilliant round cut diamonds, which are all held within bead-settings. The shoulders also feature 6 step-cut diamonds, which are channel-set. Overall, the complementary diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.80ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The ring was appraised in March of 2025 by a GIA-certified appraiser, and has a stated retail replacement value of $25,000. A substantial and eye-catching ring, this piece would make a unique engagement ring!
