A unique ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold and topped in sterling silver, this ring has a flowing design encrusted by glinting Rose Cut diamonds. The sterling topped ribbon design is encrusted with seventeen Rose Cut diamonds in closed-back settings, two larger diamonds being bezel set and the rest in complementary pronged channels. The band is crafted in yellow gold, and the inside of the ring is marked with "A", indicating its assay in Austria, a chamois head, and a fox head indicating its domestic gold craft as early as 1872. This special ring would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of a 4.5 but could easily be resized. The central design measures approximately 3/4" by 1/4".
Condition: The ring is in very good condition. The corners of the bezels holding the largest diamonds are worn, but they are securely set. The ring is otherwise, besides normal surface wear, free of damage. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
