A gorgeous vintage diamond engagement ring with two fitted ring guards from the 1960s by legendary designer OSCAR HEYMAN! This unique trio of rings is composed of platinum, and the central marquise diamond in the engagement ring weighs 1.00ct with G color and Internally Flawless clarity according to a GIA Diamond Grading Report (#531295, dated 11/1990). The center diamond is flanked by two tapered baguette diamonds weighing approximately 0.18ctw/each with G/H color, VS range clarity. The engagement ring also features an open gallery and cathedral style mounting, allowing for plenty of light to flood the diamonds. The engagement ring is marked for platinum. The engagement ring is accompanied by a recent appraisal dated February of 2023 by a GIA Diamonds Graduate with a retail replacement value of $14,500. The engagement ring is accompanied by two signed Oscar Heyman custom platinum bands that engulf the marquise engagement ring like a jacket. Each guard contains thirteen round brilliant cut diamonds in channel settings. The estimated carat weight of each guard is approximately 0.32ctw, totaling 0.64cts, with E-F range color and VVS1 clarity. The two guards are signed with the Heyman signature hallmark, as well as a serial number.
