A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This beautiful ring is crafted in platinum, and frames a luscious, deep champagne diamond at the center, which is suspended in a 4-prong setting. The stone is an old European Cut, weighing 1.09ct and displaying SI2 clarity. Lining the shoulders of the platinum mounting are four old Mine Cut diamonds, which have a collective carat weight of approximately 0.40ctw. The combination of white and champagne-colored diamonds together is both stunning and unusual! A subtle knife-edged shank completes the mounting, tapering in as it nears the back. This unique ring is even more beautiful in person, delivering a spectacular sparkle with a soft pop of color. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could be easily re-sized. When worn, the center diamond rests approximately 1/4" above the finger. The tapered band measures about 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
