Description

A beautiful diamond crescent moon necklace from the Victorian era (ca1880)! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold and topped in sterling silver, Rose Cut diamonds adorn the surface. The diamonds sparkle in the elegant floral and ribbon design that fills the crescent moon, the silver-topped details contrasting beautifully against the rosy yellow gold. Originally worn as a pin, the crescent has since been converted into a pendant that now hangs from a vibrant yellow gold chain, fastening with a spring-ring in the back marked "750". This celestial piece is simply stunning in person and would look wonderful worn at any time of day. It would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 16" long. The crescent pendant has a 1 1/8" diameter and measures approximately 1/4" at its deepest points.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling-topped gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact. The chain and spring ring are in good working condition.
