A beautiful pair of carved jade earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, each of these stunning earrings of a Chinese origin features a large jade drop which has an ornate hand-carved floral pattern. This earring has a post backing with a small flower motif. This post can be converted to an ear wire if needed. The jade has beautiful, pale green color with a varying, marbled appearance which darkens towards the bottom. When worn, the earrings hang long and frame the face beautifully, making them a fantastic statement piece!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1.5" in total length. The carved jade drops measure 1.1" long, 0.3" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or posts and the carved jade plaques are intact and free of chips or scratches.
