A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful piece holds a stunning Transitional Cut diamond at the center of an elegant design. The brilliant stone weighs 0.99ct and rests within a classic 4-prong setting, exhibiting K color and SI2 clarity, sparkling beautifully with every turn. Gorgeous tapered baguette diamonds adorn each shoulder of the mounting, adding even more sparkling radiance to the overall design. Finishing the ring are delicate airline cutouts that grace the underside of the mounting, and a smoothly polished band that graduates slightly towards the back where stamped inside of the shank is a "10% IRID PLAT" purity mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in August 2020, and has a stated retail replacement value of $6,000.00. Accompanying the center diamond is a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Diamond Grading Report (report number 1206073963) issued in February 2019, which confirms the stone's stated characteristics. When worn, the ring is positively radiant, delivering a spectacular sparkle, and is perfect for that special someone!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5. When worn, the ring rests 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
