The raised continents have a very smooth gold finish, and are engraved with the Italian names that include: "N AMERICA," "S AMERICA," "EUROPA," "AFRICA," "AUSTRALIA," and "ASIA." The piece hangs from a simple gold ring at the top, perfect for hanging the pendant from a favorite gold chain. Stamped on the back of bail is "750 VR." Condition: The pendant is in excellent vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the raised continents are securely attached, as is the ring bail at the top.
