A stylish Wachenheimer carnelian link bracelet from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this classic piece is comprised of seven carnelian links which connect together to form a bold, yet feminine design. The polished stones are hand-cut into oval shapes and have soft rounded edges, each prong set within an open backed frame. The rich burnt orange discs are linked together by delicate spacer loops on either side and when worn, the flexible bracelet wraps comfortably around the wrist, fastening with a push clasp disguised within the final link. Stamped on the underside of the clasp is a "STERLING" mark and the "WACHENHEIMER" signature hallmark. A perfect everyday bracelet, it would look fantastic worn alone or paired with other complimentary pieces for a layered look!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7.25" long, and would fit nicely on an average to medium sized wrist. Each oval-shaped link measures approximately 7/8" long, a little more than 5/8" wide, and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. All of the carnelian stones are intact, securely set, and free of chips or scratches. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
