A stunning ring from the Victorian (ca. 1850) era! Crafted in 18k gold and topped with sterling silver, this gorgeous ring features a sparkling 1.20ctw old European cut diamond surrounded by a halo of 1.50ctw Burmese no heat rubies and twenty eight Rose cut diamonds. The Burmese Rubies create a wonderful gemstone appeal, with their rich pink hue contrasting perfectly against the bright diamonds. The gallery is open, allowing plenty of light to engulf the all of the diamonds and rubies. The outside of the shank is marked with two small French hallmarks, an eagle head and weevil. A truly magnificent ring, it is positively breathtaking in person and would look incredible worn on special occasions!
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamonds and rubies are intact, securely set, and free of chips or scratches.
