A classically beautiful and very unique jadeite necklace with a gorgeous diamond clasp from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This fabulous piece is comprised of a single strand of 57 graduated jadeite beads which are hand-knotted on pale green thread and exhibit a beautiful mottled green and white color. The strand features a silver-topped 14k yellow gold hidden clasp that displays a fantastic eye motif, encrusted with 6 bead-set Rose Cut diamonds surrounding a bezel-set Rose Cut diamond in the center with a figure eight safety ensuring the clasp stays secure. This feminine, elegant necklace is so versatile and would look gorgeous in any bead lover's collection!

Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 17" in total length. The pearls range in size with 4.5mm being the smallest and 9.3mm being the largest.

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the jadeite beads or diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
