A gorgeous diamond solitaire ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful 18k rosy-yellow gold ring holds a glittering Old Mine cut diamond at the center. The 8 prong-set stone weighs an estimated .90cts and has I/J color and SI2 clarity. The smooth gold tapered gold band features simple linear etching on either shoulder, and the shank is engraved "John to Heather June 24th '85" inside. A marvelous Victorian piece, it would look lovely worn day or night, and could make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 4 3/4, but it could easily be re-sized up or down if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the diamond is secure in the prongs.
