A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece holds a beautiful 1.71ct old European Cut diamond at the center of a timeless setting. The sparkling stone rests within a 4-prong setting, and exhibits L/M color and VS1 clarity, catching the light beautifully with every turn. Elegant tapered Baguette diamonds adorn each shoulder of the mounting, weighing approximately 0.15ctw, with J-K range color and S1 range clarity. Completing the design is a slim band with a smoothly polished finish that graduates slightly towards the back and stamped inside the shank is "IRID PLAT" purity mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in November 2020, and has a stated retail replacement value of $13,000.00. When worn, the piece delivers a spectacular sparkle and would make stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece rests 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamonds are all intact and securely set.
