A unique pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in gunmetal with gold-washed accents, this piece is in the shape of an anchor with a rope. Rosy gold stars adorn the anchor, and "JERSEY" (referencing the British Island of Jersey) is written in elegant print down its shank. The anchor itself has lovely detail with an embellished heart and fleur-de-lys on its anchor flukes. It can be worn as a pin or a pendant using the brass pin mechanism or gunmetal bail at its top. A one-of-a-kind piece, this interesting anchor would be a perfect addition to any Victorian or nautical collection!
Measurements: The pin/pendant measures approximately 1 1/2" tall (excluding the bail), 15/16" wide, and is less than 1/8" thick (excluding the pin stem).
Condition: The pin/pendant is in very good antique condition. The gold-washed detail on the top star and the letters "E" and "R" are slightly worn, but this is typical of a Victorian-era piece and does not detract from its beauty. The bail and pin mechanism are both secure and in good working condition.
