A beautiful pearl and jade chain from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Very long in length, this necklace is made of brassy 14k yellow gold strands of chain that alternate with pearls and beads of marbled jade. All of the jade beads are uniform in size, and the pearls alternate in size slightly. The chain is long enough to slip on over head and even long enough to wrap twice for some. The chain comes to a close with a simple spring ring, which is faintly marked but is illegible, and allows you to add a favorite pendant or locket to the chain. A fabulous everyday piece, this chain is perfect for any antique jewelry lover!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures 34" long. The pearls measure between 2.2 and 4.4mm in diameter, and the jade beads are 4.7mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold strands of chain, and all of the pearls and jade beads are intact.
