A fabulous dragon ring from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the ring depicts two intertwining dragons. The bodies and torsos of the creatures feature intricate etchings, which represent scales and the beasts' snouts. The eyes of both dragons are represented by modern round brilliant cut diamonds, which are held within bezel settings. Another, larger modern round brilliant cut diamond is nestled in between the dragons, and is held within a six-prong setting. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .20ctw. Additionally, each dragon mouth holds a rich, red ruby, which have an overall approximate carat weight of 1ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A truly unique piece, this ring would make a wonderful addition to any Vintage jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7.5 and could be resized slightly if desired. The dragon's heads extend about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 3.4mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the rubies and diamonds are secure and intact.
