This opal ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era makes quite a stylish accessory! Hand-crafted in 18k yellow gold, the ring features an exquisite opal stone that is held within a four-prong setting. The prongs resemble small leaves, which adds a unique touch to the piece. The 5ct oval-shaped opal displays wonderful flashes of green, blue, red, and orange, which wonderfully contrasts the yellow gold mounting. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A colorful piece, this ring would make a lovely addition to any Edwardian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8.5, but could easily be re-sized up or down as desired. The opal centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 5/8" wide, and rests 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the opal stone, which is intact and securely set.
