A beautiful aquamarine bar pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14k gold, the piece features a delicate bezel-set aquamarine that rests at the center or an ornate gold bar. The bar is adorned with intricate filigree and cutout work, and features both scrolling and heart motifs. The light blue hue of the aquamarine wonderfully contrasts the yellow gold of the bar pin. On the back of the piece is a bar pin and c-catch clasp, and a safety chain and clasp provides extra security when worn. A gorgeous gemstone piece, it has a wonderful Victorian look and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 2 1/2" long from end to end.
Condition: The overall condition of the bar pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the aquamarine. The pin clasp and safety chain and clasp fasten securely and are in good working condition.
