A stunning Marcus & Co. diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful ring features an old European Cut held within a four-prong setting. The stone has an exact weight of 1.01ct, and displays I/J color and SI1 clarity. Framing the center diamond are two tapered baguette cut diamonds set at either shoulder. The baguettes weigh approximately 0.20ctw, and display G/H color and VS range clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is marked with the Marcus & Co. signature, the number "16", and a "10% IRID PLAT" purity mark. The ring was appraised in April of 2025 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $7,00.00. It's a breathtaking piece that would make a special and spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4.75 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
