A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 9k yellow gold, the center of this piece features a central oval cut sapphire, which is held within a twelve-prong setting, and displays a lovely deep blue hue. The diamond is surrounded by a halo of small old European diamonds, which are prong-set. The shoulders of the ring feature a graduating oval-cutout design, which adds to the unique appeal of the piece. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "C. L & S", with a small crown, "375" purity mark, and with a small "m" and "f". A lovely piece, this ring would make a lovely engagement ring or addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7 could be easily re-sized. The band measures 2.15mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the sapphire and diamond stones are all intact.
