Renowned Danish silversmith Georg Jensen was born in 1866. His training in metalsmithing and his education in the Fine Arts enabled him to develop a successful career based in beautiful jewelry and silver design. His signature Art Nouveau style grew increasingly popular and Jensen became a world renowned artist. Although Jensen died in 1935, his pieces are still being created today using the same craftsmanship as when he was alive.

This simple, yet striking Estate money clip from is a lovely example of Georg Jensen's work! Made of sterling silver, the money clip has a simple rounded design that slides onto a stack of bills to keep them securely together. The piece has a smooth surface with curved cutouts at each side, adding an eye-catching visual accent that accentuates the round shape. The center of the clip is engraved with the initials "EBK," though they could be polished out or re-engraved if desired. Stamped on the top of the piece is the authentic "GEORG JENSEN" signature hallmark, along with the markings "925 S", "DENMARK", and the serial number "324". A useful everyday piece, this wonderful money clip by a renowned silversmith would make a special gift or addition to any collection!

Measurements: The money clip measures approximately 2" long, 1 3/4" wide, and 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the money clip is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver. The darkened patina on the surface of the silver is normal, however it could be polished with a cloth to achieve a brighter look if desired.
