An exquisite pair of elegant moonstone and diamond drop earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k and platinum, these earrings begin with a thin and narrow diamond encrusted link. The diamonds vary in cut, and include both old mine and old single cut diamonds which are held in place by bezel and bead-settings. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2ctw. The bottom of each earring features a bezel-set moonstone, which each display lovely gray and blue flashes. The earrings are secured with lever backs. A fabulous pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special occasion or event!
Measurements: Each diamond earring hangs approximately 1 3/4" in total length. The moonstones have a diameter of just under 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. All of the moonstones and diamonds are secure and intact. The lever backs are intact and in working order.
