A fabulous diamond and sapphire ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this ring features a central 0.65ct modern round brilliant cut diamond held within a four-prong setting. The diamond is bordered on one side by a large fanning-panel, which is encrusted with small single cut diamonds held within bead-settings. The other side of the central diamond features another large single cut diamond, which is bead-set and rests atop an intricate milgrained-backdrop. Six small modern round brilliant cut diamonds decorate another milgrained-backgrop, and all of these stones are bead-set as well. Overall, the smaller diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .55ctw. The top and bottom edge of the band are thick and feature a three-dimensional twisting-design. Each edge features a bezel-set pink sapphire cabochon. The remainder of the thick band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark. A truly unique find, this statement ring would be perfect for any special occasion!
Measurements: The ring is a size 4.75, but could easily be resized. The band measures 4mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. All of the stones are secure and intact.
