A wonderful vintage charm from the 1960s! This delightful 14k piece depicts a miniature world globe with a colorful design. The globe itself is enameled with a deep royal blue color representing the oceans. A variety of inlaid stones throughout the globe indicate the continents, and yellow gold seams create a grid of coordinates. Included in the ensemble of inlaid stones are mother of pearl and agate. Attached to the top of the stand is a simple ring, which is stamped "14K" and with an indistinguishable hallmark. This charming piece would look lovely worn on a gold chain, or added to a special charm bracelet. It is perfect for the vintage charm lover's collection!
Measurements: The charm hangs 1" long, including the ring for hanging. The globe itself has a 5/8" diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, enameled details, or inlaid stones. The globe spins easily and freely, and the bail for hanging is secure and intact.
