A stunning pearl and diamond bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and topped in sterling silver, this bracelet features 10 oval-shaped links. Each link features a central pearl, with each stone display a lovely luster. The remainder of each link features four swirling "arms", which are encrusted with small, rose cut diamonds. All of the diamonds rest within bead settings, and have an approximate total carat weight of 1.20ctw. The sides of each link are gold, smooth, and simple. Each link is connected to the next by a small gold connector, which is each decorated with an additional small pearl. The bracelet secures with a hidden push clasp, and features an additional safety chain for extra security. The tongue of the push clasp is stamped "DEPOSE", with a small "v", and with two, additional hallmarks, which indicate that the piece is French in origin. A dainty and feminine piece, this gorgeous bracelet would make a wonderful addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long, and would nicely on an average sized wrist. Each link is 3/4" long and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds and pearls are secure and intact. The push clasp and additional safety chain are in working order.
