Paloma Picasso, daughter of Pablo Picasso was born April 19, 1949 in Vallauris France. Surrounded by artists from a very young age, Paloma worked as a costume designer when some of her jewelry creations caught the attention of critics. She then went on to design jewelry for Zolotas, Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. She eventually launched her own line, creating perfume and designer accessories.
A lovely bracelet from legendary designer Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co.! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and sterling silver, this bracelet is composed of 11 disc-shaped links. Each disc features a "two-tone" design, with one side of the links being crafted in yellow gold, and the other side in sterling silver. The discs are connected to each other by small 18k jump rings. The bracelet secures with a mixed metal toggle clasp. The inside of the last link features the Paloma Picasso and Tiffany & Co. signatures, and "925" and "750" purity marks. An elegant and timeless bracelet, this piece would make a lovely addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurement: The bracelet measures approximately 7" long, and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. Each link measures 5/8" long and 5/8" wide. Each disc has a depth of 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or sterling silver settings. All of the links and connectors are secure and intact. The toggle clasp is intact and in working order.
